A Snapshot of Your Day
The role encompasses managing your own activities to meet the agreed deliverables. It will involve a combination of managing reviews/gates while guiding the AGT CD (core development) organization on what the review/gates deliverables are, to maximize success. Opportunities to continue to improve quality of the engineering processes while managing the issues that have escaped.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsible for ensuring the AGT Power turbine and package engineering organization understand and meet the review/gate requirements minimizing the number of actions.
- Lead all CD improvements and PDP initiatives associated with the PT and Package
- Responsible for chairing PDP/PIP reviews for the AGT PT and Package programs
- Working with the Chief of Design and Chief of development drive an approach to design and development based on knowledge, experience, risk and in-service understanding in conjunction with engineering first principles.
- Responsible for all AGT CD processes related to the integration of between engine, power turbine and package equipment
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Recognized ability at working in cross functional / geographical / cultural working environments
- 10+ years previous experience in the design and/or support of gas turbine packages and/or power turbines
- Ability to quickly understand complex engineering issues and manage technical experts to ensure review/gate requirements are met.
- Enthusiasm to develop new methods and approaches to manage and improve package and Power turbine engineering quality.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
