A Snapshot of Your Day

As a business analyst you would manage the forecast cycle, working closely with business units to ensure a seamless process from initial data provision to final forecast submission.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide business units with timely access to pertinent guarantee data, enabling them to initiate their forecasting activities with the most current and accurate information.
• Customize and tailor forecasting models to align with the unique needs and characteristics of each business unit, ensuring that models are both relevant and effective.
• Collect and collate forecast data from various business units and conduct a detailed comparative analysis against actual performance to identify variances and potential areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain an effective feedback loop with business units, leveraging insights to continuously assess and improve the accuracy and efficiency of the forecasting process.
• Ensure adequate reporting to TCF management on forecast outcomes to help in strategic planning of Guarantee Lines
• Exploring opportunities for digitalization to streamline forecasting activities and process enhancements.

What You Bring

• Successfully completed bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, controlling or in a related field ideally supplemented by additional finance-related qualifications.
• You enjoy expanding your knowledge and are interested to learn more about Trade Finance; previous knowledge about Treasury, Trade Finance, Corporate Finance or Banking is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional experience in an international company, ideally with working experience in a multi-cultural background. You have a very good understanding of and high affinity for IT technologies and system administration.
• You have very good knowledge of Excel and Business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). Programming skills (e.g. Visual Basic, Python) and knowledge about Robotics Process Automation would be a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a highly demanding and dynamic environment as well as ability to work collaboratively across functions, regions and cultures
• Strong team player, strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution, strong problem-solving skills
• You are business fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus
