A Snapshot of Your Day

With focus on our business in Poland, we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager within the Steam Turbine & Generators Service Organization.  You will be responsible for project planning and execution in close cooperation with project manager.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Supports the Project Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care
  • You have full responsibility for all commercial/finance-related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, Bank Guarantees and Insurance.
  • Ensures accurate methodology for identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies, and mitigation activities.
  • Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project financials, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g., SAP.
  • Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the project financials (i.e., FC, cash flow)
  • You ensure compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
  • Identifies, minimizes non-conformance costs, and establishes an appropriate reporting structure; supports the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general.
  • Responsible for monthly revenue recognition and contractual invoicing and cash collection
  • Act as a business partner and commercial support during Sales Phase, approving customer offers within limits of authority
  • Aggregate and analyze data to steer the monthly closing, forecasting, and annual budget processes within your area of responsibility

What You Bring
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent based on experience
  • You can boast at least 2 years of relevant experience as commercial project manager
  • Well-founded knowledge in the area of project controlling and project reporting including corresponding standards and processes
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and SAP
  • English and Polish language knowledge on a business conversational level is a must 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and efficient communication skills, team player 
  • Customer, result and quality orientation and motivation, as well as personal initiative
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model
