A Snapshot of Your Day
- Commissioning / Maintenance / Exchange / Update / Repair / Trouble shooting of automation components (DCS / Sensors / Actuators / Industrial network)
- Modifications to control systems in accordance with engineering instructions
- Participation in process optimization of silyzers / electrolysis plants
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Compliance with safety standards (HSE)
- Supervision / Carrying out all commissioning and / or service work within
- the given scope of work
- Carrying out and supervising service / inspection work on electrolysis plants
- and their auxiliary systems
- Processing and checking the associated documentation
- Leading and instructing subcontractors on construction sites
- Preparing construction site reports
- Report discrepancies and non-conformities to propose project-specific solutions and ensure feedback of information and experience
What You Bring
- University degree in mechanical engineering, automation technology or electrical engineering with focus on industrial electronics
- Unlimited worldwide willingness to travel for field service (mandatory)
- Experience with PCS 7 automation system (desirable, but not required)
- Understanding of standards and norms for industrial plants
- Language skills: English - min. Level B1
- Strong communication skills, team cohesion and coordination skills
- Understanding of automation system concepts
- Basic knowledge of industrial networks, Windows Server administration, industrial communication protocols and virtualization in the client or server environment
- Career starter and newcomer to electrolysis, primarily for new systems
- Knowledge in the field of ‘functional safety’
