About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will lead and handle the project on implementation of AI @ ESN or similar projects within Siemens Energy global procurement team, facilitate the conceptualization, completion by ensuring adequate resources are assigned, project is supervised, and status reported, coordinating between departments and Procurement managers & Procurement Heads of business verticals.
You will facilitate project through design, development, training, and implementation as well as develop reporting and metrics.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define project scope, goals and results that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and collaborators.
- Optimally communicate project expectations to the team and collaborators in a timely and clear fashion. Plan and schedule project timelines and achievements using appropriate tools and track.
- Settle frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively handle changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, empower and supervise project team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work..Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business management / engineering or related field with 8 years of professional work experience, minimum of 5 years direct work experience in a procurement project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Prior experience in handling global projects that affect the organizations long term goals and objectives. Change leadership skills and confirmed ability to lead change.
- Applies appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans; modifies own behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved
- Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of teams.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks in a fast paced environment is essential
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
