How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support for our R&D team in the evaluation and evaluation of thermal and structural mechanical 3D calculations of hot gas-carrying runners, guide vanes and flow channel components
- Help with the validation, implementation and knowledge transfer of different FE solvers, such as ANSYS and Nastran
- Support in the development and implementation of processes and methods for the design of hot gas turbine components
- Assist in integrated product teams (IPTs) of a department dealing with R&D
- Implementation and application of artificial intelligence methods in the context of 3D finite elements methods
What You Bring
- Current successful studies in Aerospace Technology, Mechanics, Physical Engineering Sciences Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
- Ideally knowledge of thermodynamics, aerodynamics, structural mechanics, turbomachinery and FE calculations, preferably from your studies
- Good Python programming knowledge, committed to bringing this knowledge to us
- Secure handling of common MS Office applications
- Very good knowledge of German and English in spoken and written language
- Long-term availability

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
