A Snapshot of Your Day

In this position you will be providing customer support to Utility and Industrial customers across the US, and other parts of the world. You will be communicating with customers, the purchasing team, contract administrators, and the warehouse daily. Our key objectives are to offer our customers world-class service focusing on their needs for spare parts. We strive to offer an appropriate level of quality and ensure materials and services are delivered on schedule and in compliance with the customer’s specifications and expectations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Working daily with customers providing solutions to technical problems, troubleshooting and identifying the appropriate parts needed for replacement.
  • Coordinate all proposal activities for Siemens Energy GT Service parts with a focus on Transformers.
  • Communicating daily with different team members to provide customer support.
  • Coordinate activities during the preparation of quote documents describing the technical, financial and legal aspect of the parts quote.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including maintenance reports, Bill of Materials, and Drawings.

What You Bring

  • Associates Degree and 6 or more years of experience, or at least 10 years of experience in the electrical field without the degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • SAP and Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to set and manage customer priorities in a timely manner and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively across various functions and departments; Detail-oriented, flexible and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
