Join a team where your deep expertise in Teamcenter deployments shapes the backbone of our engineering operations. You’ll plan and execute both hot and cold deployments of BMIDE data model changes, keeping systems stable and teams productive. Every day, you’ll partner with international colleagues, streamline processes with DevOps tools, and troubleshoot complex challenges in a dynamic Microsoft Azure environment. With each successful deployment, you’ll ensure our global operations run smoothly driving accuracy, scalability, and innovation across Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan, execute, and manage hot and cold deployments of BMIDE data model changes, ensuring minimal disruption and compatibility with existing configurations
  • Deploy custom workflows, preferences, code changes (bin/lib), and other customizations across development, QA, and production environments
  • Utilize Teamcenter Deployment Center for efficient installation, patching, upgrading, and custom software/template deployments
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment processes, including service restarts and validation checks
  • Streamlining deployment processes for multiple environments using CICD, Jenkins / Ansible etc. together with GIT
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during deployments, perform root cause analysis, and restore systems to a stable state if failures occur
  • Monitor and ensure smooth operation of Teamcenter services post-deployment in Microsoft Azure environment
  • Collaborate on upgrades to newer Teamcenter versions, testing deployments in lower environments before production rollout
  • Ensure accurate and timely resolution of all assigned deployment-related issues and requests in a highly professional service environment
  • Escalate product bugs or unresolvable cases as needed

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer applications
  • 5-8 years of total working experience in Teamcenter, with strong focus on data model configuration and deployments
  • In-depth knowledge of BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE) for configuring and extending the Teamcenter data model, including creation/modification of business objects, properties, LOVs, rules, workflows, and preferences
  • Expertise in performing hot deployments (for non-schema changes) and cold deployments (for schema changes using TEM/Deployment Center)
  • Proficiency in deploying custom code changes (bin/lib modifications), workflows, preferences, and other customizations
  • Proficient in DevOps methodology with experience in using tools such as GitLab Pipeline, Jenkins etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Deployment Center for managing installations, patches, upgrades, and custom template deployments
  • Ability to automate deployment processes using scripts (e.g., shell, batch, Python or other scripting languages)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex deployment failures, including root cause analysis and system rollback/restore to previous working state
  • Good understanding of Teamcenter services, architecture (4-tier/AWC), and related components in distributed environments
  • Experience in setting up Azure cloud infrastructure components needed for Teamcenter and Teamcenter deployments (VMs, storage, access, NSGs) etc.
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter deployment and operations across Windows and Linux platforms in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment
  • Knowledgeable in Terraform for automating Teamcenter infrastructure setup in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with latest Teamcenter versions (e.g., Teamcenter 14.x and above), including deployment best practices
  • Clear, logical, and effective verbal/written communication skills
  • Should have exposure working with international teams
