A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for the auxiliary systems of our gas turbines, steam turbines and generators, you will be responsible for conducting supplier qualification, development, and quality assurance measures. You will work closely with various departments in a multicultural environment, both locally and globally, within a global supply chain management process. An SQE uses digitalization tools to enhance our processes and addresses nonconformances by conducting containment, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing preventive measures and risk mitigation strategies.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, audit quality management systems, and processes to support multi-functional teams
  • Plan, track, and report achievements, budgets, and resources for Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) of parts and systems
  • Oversee quality assurance measures, approve supplier processes, and conduct various types of inspections
  • Coordinate nonconformance processing with suppliers and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics and adjust quality, inspection, and development plans accordingly
  • Facilitate qualification meetings, identify risks, and maintain data quality using relevant tools and databases
What You Bring
  • Bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar field
  • Technical experience with industrial process technology and /or auxiliary systems in energy generation plants preferred
  • Experience in conducting supplier audits as well as demonstrated ability in technical field and/or working in Supply Chain Management
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies
  • Project Management Experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Willingness to travel ~30%
