Join our dynamic team at Siemens Gamesa in Central Scotland as an experienced Service Operations Manager! In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in improving production across multiple wind turbine sites, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability in the thriving onshore wind industry. You will be the key interface for our customers, driving service excellence and making a tangible impact on the future of renewable energy. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will set the standards and culture for incident-free project execution, aligning with our #HomeSafe policy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop site team members, fostering a culture of open communication and strong company values.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure exceptional service delivery while improving value for both customers and Siemens Energy.
  • Strategically manage wind farm operations to optimise availability and costs, ensuring all key targets are met.
  • Regularly report to senior management on progress against KPIs, highlighting areas for improvement and escalation.
  • You will be accountable for financial performance, budget management, and optimising gross profit and cash flow.
  • Effectively manage risks and opportunities, ensuring contract compliance and claims mitigation.

What You Bring

  • A strong background in Operations Management within the wind industry, with significant experience in large, complex environments.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain motivated teams in safety-critical settings while managing customer relationships effectively.
  • A track record of delivering against customer agreements with full responsibility for commercial results.
  • Understanding of safety, financial, and operational performance metrics, with the ability to influence them positively.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to lead by example, inspiring others to achieve excellence.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
