A Snapshot of Your Day

This position is crucial in ensuring that Siemens Energy possesses accurate data to forecast the timing and scope of future maintenance events. Based on a traditional approach, you will be required to engage with customers, internal stakeholders, and manage multiple IT systems to provide the most current information available. This business environment is dynamic and rapidly changing, demanding a proactive attitude and the ability to excel in uncertain situations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Actively work with key account managers and customer contacts across a wide area of North America, leveraging existing and new customer relationships to ensure the future outage calendar is up to date with the latest information, planned outage scopes, and timing of future outages. Communication methods include phone calls, emails, and text messages, with a required cadence of follow-ups to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with internal sales, marketing, and parts groups to use collected outage information to support future forecasting of revenue, parts, service, and commodity needs.
  • Work with internal service engineering and technical planning groups to capture recommendations made during past outages and ensure they are incorporated into potential future outage plans.
  • Partner with field operations teams on current and near-term outages to ensure date and scope changes are updated in systems of record as close to real time as possible.
  • Work within ERP systems of record, including SAP and Salesforce, to input, maintain, and update outage and customer data.
  • Perform data-driven analysis of project workloads and resource levels to make strategic recommendations to operations leadership on forecasts, hiring, training, and related needs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 2-5 years experience with technical project coordination and customer communications.
  • This role is based in the Orlando Office location and adheres to the current office attendance policy.
  • Estimated Travel ~15% when needed to attend industry meetings, outage scope meetings, and build relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers and industry groups.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
