A Snapshot of Your Day
To support our growth and take our products to the next level, we are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the product vision that directly gives to business success.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop products that are both innovative and high-quality, addressing real customer needs. You will be responsible for the product roadmap, requirements gathering, and product launch. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that the product is built to specification and meets the needs of the customer.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work with customers, prospects, and other partners to comprehend their needs and requirements, and convey this to the development team to build products that surpass customer expectations.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with collaborators and development teams to ensure product goals are achieved.
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure maximization of customer value.
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement of the team and product.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to develop user-centered designs that improve the user experience.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to find opportunities for product innovation, and provide input into marketing and sales initiatives.
- Measure and analyze product performance indicators to make informed decisions about future product developments.
- Present new features and functionality to collaborators both within and outside the company.
- Write and maintain documentation for the product.
- Analyze data and feedback to inform decision-making, and stay up to date on industry trends and competitor products.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. Nice to have an MBA, or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally in the Energy Sector.
- Experience in SaaS or other subscription-based businesses.
- Technical background or experience working closely with engineering/software development teams.
- Fair knowledge of project management software such as Atlassian (Jira).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and processes (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe 6.0).
- Outstanding problem solving skills and experience applying data to inform decision-making.
- Proven track record of leading products from conception to market.
- Strong communications skills and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and encourage teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to understand software development processes and work out requirements.
- Ability to coordinate, support, and prioritize social media communities of software developers.
- Proficient in both oral and written English language, with a preference for knowledge in the German language

In DPS, our SW products cover already today a wide range of different categories, and we see many opportunities for growth: Asset Performance Management, Energy Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Health Prediction, Customer Portal & AI assisted Applications, Connectivity & Edge, Backend Core / Domain / Platform Services and Professional Services As a global team we are aiming to towards the SAFe 6.0 process standards in our daily way of working.
