A Snapshot of Your Day

Supporting Gas Services New Units projects in KSA by availing technological know-how at power plant balance of system engineering experience to provide all required technical support to ongoing projects to address customer demands, act as the first line of attendance to customer queries and ensure proper solutions to customer issues in alignment with internal stakeholder departments/ teams. Establish and manage the required reporting structure for internal and external stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, timelines, and local standards. Focusing on Balance of the Plant Components and Systems of SGT6-5000F and SGT6-9000HL Combined Cycle applications in Supply Contract and Consortium Agreements in KSA from PM100 to PM700.
  • Provide turnkey project experience, process, and plant expertise to all projects in KSA, including warranty support post-COD.
  • Develop professional relationships with customers and partners, acting as the main point of contact for technical queries and ensuring high-quality input from the team.
  • Conduct technology and engineering risk reviews, ensure compliance with local codes and standards, and communicate requirements to project teams. Support Electrical, Process Safety and I&C activities.
  • Overview of Technology & Engineering topics (incl. Oil specification check, oil loop, air handling, check & validate standardization options to generate savings). Interface to PHX team regarding HL unites
  • Understand technical local standards (incl. BOS) and requirements and ensure proper representations in our projects and driving successful project outcomes in collaboration with PMs and engineering teams.

What You Bring 

  • Degree in Electrical, or I&C Engineering, Process control background
  • 7-10 years of experience in CCPP Balance of Plant Components and Systems, including planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, with familiarity in power generation, installation and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (Project Management skills)
  • Experience in installation and commissioning is desirable. Proven ability to lead virtual and international teams, achieving results in diverse, hybrid, and on-site working environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and moderation skills, with excellent communication in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Comfortable handling a wide range of duties, from technical tasks to project coordination, while adhering to industrial standards and ensuring seamless transitions across various work settings.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
