A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Senior Planner, you will join our dynamic team at BV Orlando, driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Team Lead, Procurement, and Order Management, you will ensure seamless operations and superior service delivery. Your role will involve critical processes such as supplier forecasting, master data maintenance in SAP, and demand & capacity planning, while optimizing slot planning and enhancing business reporting. With your advanced analytical skills and strong interpersonal abilities, you will inspire your teammates and foster a high-performing environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support and promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the Operations Planning (OP) team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation, participating in management meetings to contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for optimal performance.
  • Run regular reports to proactively monitor key process indicators, emphasizing continuous improvement and automation of reporting.
  • Perform quarterly analysis of demand, inventory, purchase order, and sourcing data to enhance supplier forecasts and provide forecast data to the NST (long-term forecasting team).
  • Oversee the maintenance and changes to material masters, manage production BOMs, and implement Demand & Capacity processes in collaboration with Strategic Procurement and NST organizations.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of diverse experience in order management, supply management, MRP planning, and manufacturing.
  • Proven collaboration skills with experience in team networking for effective problem resolution.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, preferably with experience in multi-step subcontracting procurement of serialized parts.
  • Ability to comprehend manufacturing processes, engineered drawings, specifications, and Bill of Material (BOM) concepts.
  • Proficiency in the SAP system, particularly in Material Management and Sales & Distribution modules, along with a solid understanding of basic purchasing and contract principles.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously, balancing workload and priorities effectively, and possessing an analytical mindset for data visualization and analysis.
  • Additional skills in project planning, familiarity with tools used by the Data Science team (such as PowerBI, DAX/Power Query, Alteryx, SQL programming, and Python), and experience with project management tools (like Git, Jira, and MS Planner) are highly valued.
