A Snapshot of Your Day

You are the main point of contact for all Quality topics on your assigned projects reporting directly to the Project Director. You work closely with the Siemens Energy project team and customer’s QM representative to ensure all quality aspects of the project delivery are met in line with the project quality plan you developed. With a risk-based mindset, you continuously monitor the project, support the closure of any non-conformances, carry out monitoring inspections and/or audits, and ensure that all quality documents are planned and delivered with final handover in mind. Further to your project related work, you drive continuous improvement topics within the department and wider business to increase the company’s efficiency and competitiveness.

• Ensuring Quality Standards: You develop, implement, and enforce quality standards and specifications for the project, ensuring that the result meets or exceeds expectations.
• Reducing Errors: By implementing robust quality assurance processes, you significantly reduce errors, rework, and delays, saving time and resources.
• Risk Management: You identify potential NCRs, risks or issues that could impact the quality of the project and take proactive steps to mitigate these risks.
• Compliance: You ensure that all project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, avoiding potential legal issues and maintaining the company's reputation.
• Continuous Improvement: You analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement. This continuous optimization enhances overall project execution and outcomes.
• Customer Satisfaction: By ensuring high-quality results, you significantly contribute to customer satisfaction, leading to repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
• Team Guidance: You provide guidance and training to the project team on quality expectations and procedures, fostering a culture of quality awareness and excellence within the team (office and site). In addition, you support the project team with NCR closure.
• Vendor Evaluation: You evaluate and monitor suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet the company's quality standards, ensuring a high-quality product.

What You Bring
• An engineering degree or similar and experience in at least one project-related function (project management, engineering, commissioning, field service etc.)
• 5+ years' experience in operational quality management or quality assurance, CWI certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge in project, contract, and process management
• You are well acquainted with quality management systems, methods, and tools, such as ISO 9001, Lessons Learned, SWOT Analyzes and preferably with Grid and Transmission Technology
• Strong MS Office, Fabasoft etc.
• Fluent in English language necessary. Additional languages ​​such as Spanish are an advantage. Willingness to travel 20-30% internationally

About the Team

You will become part of an international team of quality managers and experts for quality management in projects. We support each other in our work on customer projects. It is usual to work there as early as the offer phase (10%), but your work usually concentrates on the initial phase of a customer project for approx. 1 year (60%) as well as supporting other projects until their completion (30%). A mentor will provide you with practical training using specific examples. Necessary training and education will be carried out promptly.
