A Snapshot of Your Day

  • Review of open purchases on a daily basis. Confirming priority orders are managed accordingly.
  • Meets with departmental supervisors, EHS and Management on upcoming needs.
  • Distribute and work with warehouse personnel where to locate consumable items. 
  • Manages inventory Kiosk supplies and upload report to LAN for supervisor review.
  • Work on potential cost reduction projects and targets related to the direct supply of materials, products, and services. 
  • Ensures the facility does not run short of non-product procurement orders. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Places Purchase Requests, keeps budget purchases and CAPEX records. Weekly status reports.
  • Maintain, update and coordinate with on site team-ensuring proper approvals and manages expenditures accordingly. 
  • Trouble shoot supplier and/ or system process issues. Tracking and updating requestor(s) weekly status. 
  • Communicates order status to all depts via Procurement Log w/ PO #, tracking info. and supplier promised delivery dates.  Any Late or delayed delivery is followed up with suppliers, promise date updated on log and communicated to requestor.
  • Responsible for managing suppliers. Reviews and verifies any supplier managed inventory by confirming counts prior to approving supplier order.
  • Ensures not to exceed consumable yearly FLC budget. Negotiates best quoting price. Manage, track and report expenditures to management on a weekly basis to ensure expenditures are within budget limits. 

What You Bring 

  • BS/BA in related discipline or high school diploma with equivalent purchasing experience is required.
  • 3+ years of successful experience in procurement, supply chain, or commodity is required. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Must have a strategic mindset, with strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Possesses excellent time-management and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to use multiple SAP systems (Ariba, SAP).
