A Snapshot of Your Day
Start your day with a team meeting to discuss digitalization topics, share insights, and address challenges. Afterward, follow up on developing and handling digitalization projects by applying automation tools like Alteryx, SAP Analytics Cloud/ Power BI, and Snowflake.
In the afternoon, dedicate your time to brainstorming innovative ideas for upskilling the finance community by introducing new technologies such as GenAI and Copilot.
Interact with various partners to make sure the digital strategy is aligned within FIN PE BC. Your contributions will drive efficiency and technological advancement. Join us in shaping the future of finance through digital innovation and continuous learning!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage digital finance projects: coordinate timelines, communicate with collaborators, focus on development and implementation, and ensure project objectives are met
- Coordinate customized BI (Business Intelligence) solutions on your own that meet the unique data and analytical needs of the business, including design and implementation of data models, creation of reports and visualizations, and usage of advanced analytics techniques to extract insights that advise strategic decision-making
- Train employees on using developed BI solutions to enable them to leverage data insights
- Foster collaboration and communication among finance community and various digitalization teams to ensure the successful sharing of knowledge, experiences, and standard processes across the organization
- Inspire and guide others towards successful digital transformation in their own areas of responsibility
- Set an example of digital excellence and facilitate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization
What You Bring
- University degree in the field of Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent vocational training and experience
- Long-term relevant professional experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and controlling in a multinational controlling environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate in complex and uncertain situations, and effectively communicate with peers and management
- Knowledge around finance tools and data (Dashboards, Alteryx, Snowflake, SAC knowledge preferred), as well as Siemens internal systems
- Project Management skills paired with excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Full business proficiency in English, German is an advantage
