A Snapshot of Your Day

As production supervisor and part of plant manufactures distribution transformer, you will have the opportunity to lead and innovate in a fostering and empowering environment.

Your role will have a real business impact through personal contributions.

You will drive the operators and production units, ensuring that they meet set performance, deadline, quantity, and quality targets. You will organize and coordinate the production in the various production cells. Additionally, you will perform regular shop floor rounds in all production units.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure the application of established OHS standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with procedures established by the company (quality, work schedules, absences, discipline, etc.).
• Assign workload and production targets to each resource (machine, worker).
• Implement pre-established production rates.
• Provide follow-up on the plant’s 5S.
• Evaluate the training needs of work team members and provide technical support to the various departments.
• Participate in resolving production issues and quality issues.

What You Bring

• College degree in industrial engineering, operations management or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personnel management in the industrial sector and Experience in working with unionized teams.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and of Lean principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide training.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools and SAP
• Languages: French is required, English, Spanish or Portuguese are an asset. This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
