A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a dedicated member of the Omnivise Ecosystem program, you play a pivotal role in designing and establishing the networks and connectivity to asset to realize a solution business with in-cloud and on premise services that deliver significant value to our energy customers. You take on the responsibility for the network system, from clarification of requirements, defining a general architecture through to development and deployment. Your work involves devising a clear plan for standardization and scalability and implementing it effectively. In close collaboration with teams from development, product management, sales, and pilot implementation, you drive projects forward and ensure seamless operations. How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Design and develop the standard network concepts and solutions to build the Omnivise Ecosystem landscape with connectivity to various types of assets
  • Design and develop HLD, LLD, technical drawings of network topologies and secure network solutions in accordance with customer specifications and guidelines
  • Switch and router configuration and maintenance, e.g. of Cisco and Siemens-Scalance, Siemens-Ruggedcom, MOXA, Hirschmann products; Firewall configuration and maintenance, e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto
  • Implement, administrate, upgrade, maintain and test network and cybersecurity solutions and validate and verify the security and performance of the network solutions
  • Work closely with the internal and external teams on network and cybersecurity-related actions and identify and troubleshoot network and cybersecurity-related issues
  • Prepare test procedures, e.g. for (FAT & SAT) Factory & Site Acceptance; Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including design, implementation, and commissioning phases
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field with several years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring network and security solutions
  • Strong understanding of core network concepts such as L3 routing, VPNs, L2 switching, subnetting, and VLANs
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud connectivity and architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • In-depth expertise in industrial communication protocols, including IEC 61850 (MMS/GOOSE/SMV), DNP, Modbus, OPC UA, IEC 103/101/104, Profinet, and Profibus
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and NIST; knowledge of the Omnivise T3000 system is a plus
  • High willingness to travel, with fluent English skills and basic proficiency in German

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
