In the role of Metrology Engineer at Siemens Energy in Worcester, UK, your day will start with a team briefing to go over the day's priorities. You will cooperate with technical and engineering personnel, sharing your expertise for new product development and ensuring all manufacturing processes meet our high standards. With a focus on quality and precision, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering inspection methods that are essential to our additive manufacturing business. How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Follow defined techniques, SOPs, work instructions, and processes to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Work together with technical and engineering teams on new product development and processes.
  • Uphold strict adherence to health and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to problem-solving issues that arise in manufacturing.
  • Report and detail any deviations found in the process.
  • Support resolutions of daily production issues and continuous improvement efforts.

What You Bring
  • CIS fundamentals education comparable to AUKOM II.
  • Proficiency with PC-DMIS, Ziess Metrology Suite, MS packages, and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in English, with the capability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong data recording and system maintenance skills.
  • Capability to flourish in a rigorous atmosphere, exhibiting methodical and self-propelled characteristics.
  • A dedication to continuous improvement and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working knowledge of SLS or DMLS 3D printing technology is beneficial but not essential.

Our Gas Services division provides environmentally friendly power generation solutions through maintenance and decarbonization efforts. We offer power generation with minimal to zero emissions, along with steam turbines and generators, all conveniently available in one place.
