As a manufacturing IT/OT Partner in the Digital Core team, you will be part of a dynamic environment where you will participate in the digital transformation of manufacturing processes. Your daily work involves being a bridge between IT and operational technology in the manufacturing environment and ensuring a security-focused approach across both departments. You will support the implementation of digital solutions within a large international company, learning to work with IT technologies and systems. You will be responsible for IT/OT environment, including all assets and services. You will perform daily monitoring and management of the connection between IT and OT systems, review security protocols and ensure compliance. You will provide services within the operational technology environment and perform regular inspections and maintenance of IT/OT equipment directly in the manufacturing plant and oversee the operation of critical manufacturing systems. You will work closely with business partners, digital intermediaries, and local sales, technical, and maintenance teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide support for IT/OT in manufacturing locations and implement IT/OT projects with a production impact (MIT, MES, etc.)
• Implementation of hardware and software standards for manufacturing
• Set up and maintain network connectivity for IT/OT hardware and external vendor equipment
• Create and maintain detailed local network architecture documentation
• Management of local IT/OT Assets , including management of local and cloud-based servers
• Consult and contribute to local IT business continuity planning (incl. disaster recovery)

What You Bring

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals, databases, and technologies
• Communication Skills: Good level of English and excellent communication skills in Czech.
• Time management and problem-solving abilities: prioritize tasks effectively
• Stakeholder management: Involves identifying, engaging, and maintaining effective relationships with all relevant parties
• Data & Analytical Thinking: Ability for logical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Teamwork: Willingness to learn, collaborate, and accept feedback.
• Interest in Technology: Active interest in new technologies, automation, and digitalization.
• Internships or Projects: Practical experience from internships, school projects, or personal IT

About the Team

We take care of all Digital/OT/IT matters of the product business from Transformation of Industry. Your team is responsible for Digital/OT environment in our steam turbine factory in Brno, which produce steam turbines and components for the whole world. You and will work closely with colleagues from the factory and Digital colleagues worldwide and will always form new teams to create efficient solutions.
