The Logistics Project Manager supports the Project Team for conducting of logistics activities in projects aiming increase customer satisfaction and ensure the success of the project by accurate and on schedule customer supply.

How you'll make an impact

• Coordinate, communicate and process all dates and information from intern and extern suppliers, project procurement, transport- and service providers for the entire supply chain process in order to ensure an accurate, on schedule and economical processing.
• Process logistics data, create and prepare all documents needed for dispatch considering laws and regulations (hazardous goods ordinance etc.) in order to ensure a timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Ensure information regarding disposition of goods during transport and permanently update of this information in order to create options for alternative actions by information of all involved parties in a timely manner. Due date coordination by on site delivery.
• Submit relevant project information and handling instructions incl. order to the defined logistics providers to ensure an accurate, on schedule and economical dispatch.
• Organize and coordinate all shipments to final destination to ensure optimized supply regarding customer needs.

What you bring

• 2 - 5 years of professional experience in Logistics Management and Project Management
• Experience in large international projects
• Experience in intercultural environment
• Completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding specialist or logistics specialist or comparable professional qualification combined with several years of professional experience in a logistics environment.
