A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Load Planning Manager in the global planning team, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our global fleet of the most advanced Generators or Steam Turbines.

You will work collaboratively with teammates around the globe supporting both our new part business and our service facilities e.g. Muelheim, Charlotte, Budapest etc.

You will interface with many interdisciplinary teams, such as Sales for Forecasting and demand, Product management and engineering for risk inventory as well as factories and purchasing for slot and capacity planning.

With this you are a key decisions maker for load planning and inventory management.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead demand planning / forecasting and drive the optimization of forecast accuracy
  • Coordinate mid and long term planning as well as slot allocation with internal factories incl prioritization process when needed
  • Develop scenario plans to ensure all available projects can be served
  • Lead the inventory planning for new major components and a robust risk stock planning including yearly inventory budget process
  • Communicate production capacity, capability and the lead-time to the internal customer and align with factories & supply teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners, e.g. Sales, Product Management and factories to develop and implement customer service improvements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar required with 5+ years of power generation experience or other similar industries
  • Product knowledge of Steam turbines
  • Production planning, forecasting and customer service skills with hand-on planning systems and its integration with materials management.
  • Expertise in planning methodologies, handling of planning data in different systems and project management skills
  • Experience of IT applications such as MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, Tableau, Mendix etc.
  • An effective team member with excellent interpersonal skills, strong logical and analytical thinking, and a confident, assertive approach
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, is required.
