A Snapshot of Your Day 


You work in a dedicated global team to ensure that Siemens Energy engineers have uninterrupted and cost-efficient access to the software licenses they need to do their work. You discuss requirements with users, analyze and forecast license usage, understand complex license models, and provide input for contract negotiations with software vendors.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze license models to ensure optimal and legally compliant usage
  • Analyze usage behavior to maintain the optimal number of licenses
  • Become a main contributor on internal cost distribution and usage monitoring using PowerBI
  • Manage Siemens Digital Industry software licenses from Siemens Energy perspective (e.g. Teamcenter, NX, Comos. Etc.) 
  • Support external audits as well as procurement with technical knowledge during contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with software vendors and internal customers regarding license conditions and procurement
What You Bring
  • University degree in Economics, Business Informatics or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerBI 
  • Very good command of German and English, excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking as well as proactive mindset
  • Long term experience in license management (5+ Jahre)
  • Understanding of Siemens DI (digital industry) software suite is a plus
