A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Inspection Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. You’ll carry out inspections using advanced equipment, document findings, and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve inspection methodologies. Your work will directly support our commitment to delivering high-quality components that meet customer and industry standards.
How You'll Make an Impact?
- Perform inspections using a range of tools, including Hexagon CMMs with PC-DMIS, Zeiss blue light 3D scanners, manual measurement tools, and visual inspection techniques.
- Document and report inspection results in Excel and Zeiss Piweb, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and manage quality issues through the non-conformance management process.
- Support and advise colleagues on inspection-related topics, ensuring best practices are upheld.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection methodologies and technologies.
- Participate in 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to maintain a high standard of workplace organisation.
What You Bring?
- Broad inspection experience covering non-conformance handling, reporting, and measurement techniques.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and standards (ASME, ISO, and customer-specific).
- Competence in CMM operation, multi-part setups, and fixture applications.
- Experience with Zeiss Inspect GOM scanning, including scanning complex geometries and creating reports.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality assurance
- Ability to communicate complex inspection topics effectively.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including ERP, Microsoft Office, and basic CAD packages.
- Experience with castings, additive manufacturing, and machined parts (preferred).
