AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAY

As a Head of Offshore Service – Central Europe (F/ M ), you will play a key role in shaping and developing our Offshore Service business in the region. You will drive the organisation to capture the significant market growth ahead and deliver outstanding results for both our people and our customers. Based in one of our operational countries in Central Europe, you will spend a substantial amount of your time at our operational sites and meeting with customers across the area.

You will be responsible for the safe execution of our service and warranty contracts in accordance with company standards and specific customer requirements. You will maximise performance in safety, quality, schedule, and financial delivery, with full profit & loss responsibility. As an experienced leader, you bring a strong background in operations or senior project management, demonstrated through excellent performance, strong customer and people focus, strategic thinking, and a solid commercial mindset.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the creation of a global ZeroHarm and learning culture and bringing this to life within the Region through vision, visible leadership, and strong engagement.

  • Delivering consistent and excellent operational performance in line with contractual obligations across all customers and projects.

  • Ensuring a continuous improvement and learning culture that drives standardisation based on best practice to optimise operational delivery and enable lean growth.

  • Achieving Regional financial outcomes according to targets and growth ambitions (full Regional P&L responsibility: budgeting, forecasting, and delivery) and driving down NCCs.

  • Leading the regional growth and sales agenda, in partnership with Sales functions, to remain at the forefront of the offshore service industry.

  • Ensuring effective regional risk and opportunity management to maximise financial results, including leadership of escalated claims and mitigation activities.

  • Interfacing with the BU and global partner functions to maximise shared value and deliver on joint commitments.

  • Providing effective regional customer interfaces that drive shared value generation and ensure the best possible customer experience, while protecting SGRE and maximising opportunities.

  • Developing and maintaining a motivated and committed regional workforce to ensure delivery of business objectives and capture future growth opportunities.


WHAT YOU BRING

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.

  • 10+ years of experience leading teams (technicians and back-office) and working with commercial and operational activities, ideally within a service environment (alternatively in Manufacturing or Construction).

  • Strong and proven experience in managing and developing customer relationships.

  • Strong communication and broad stakeholder influencing skills.

  • Ability to travel regularly within the Region to support projects (40–50%).

  • Fluent in English.
