A Snapshot of Your Day

As Head of Finance, you will be leading the Finance and commercial function of Gas Service Control & Digitalization (GS CD) business in Asia Pacific region. This role will be reporting to Finance Head of Gas Service Asia Pacific.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Define budgets and forecast on all line items for the entire region for CD in conjunction with the regional entities.
• Steer the business as a strategic partner to the regional head by helping to assess the situation, take out obstacles, and adapt to change; improving the ability to achieve goals.
• Work cross functionally with other Siemens Energy Businesses to create the best outcome for the company.
• Coordinate all countries in Asia Pacific and represent the region towards all stakeholders.
• Ensure all internal processes are being followed (LoA, PM@siemens, etc.) as well as provide support to the countries with central topics. Leverage best practices and resources from the other CD regions and functions
• Drive collaboration between CD region Asia Pacific and C CD.
• Lead and develop the workforce ensuring a high-performance culture of business excellence and continuous improvement, with motivated employees and including simplification for key processes. Empower the local teams and grow local talent.
• Role modeling our Siemens Energy behaviors operating to the highest moral, ethical, and business standards, manage risk and protect the Siemens Energy brand.
• Proactively drive and support Regional head for AP CD in all aspects, promote our values and the transformation journey

What You Bring

• University degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
• Proven business experience in finance and customer facing roles
• Entrepreneur approach and willingness to do extra miles in achieving business goal.
• Proficient interpersonal skills required
• International experience with strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work with teams (physical and virtual) and stakeholders around the globe
• Ability to use a broad variety of leadership skills and styles
• Flexibility to travel required
• Experience in the Gas Service business or Software industry is a plus
• Proven track record with a solid work ethic

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
