A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our team as an experienced HSE Advisor and play a pivotal role in our Offshore Wind Farm Projects! You will lead the charge in promoting responsible Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices while implementing best standards that align with our overall HSE strategy. Imagine coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to establish safe work systems, monitoring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety legislation, and ensuring adherence to SGRE standards and site requirements. Your expertise will not only enhance safety but also contribute to the success of our innovative projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Support the SGRE site management team in fulfilling their responsibilities according to SGRE procedures and local legal regulations.
· Monitor site emergency preparedness to ensure readiness at all times.
· Ensure effective pre-job planning is practiced by SGRE and contractors.
· Engage with stakeholders to promote the use of Enablon for reporting safety observations and proactive inspections.
· Follow up on safety observation reports with site management, ensuring thorough investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
· Coordinate with action owners to achieve timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
· Analyze safety observations to identify trends and implement awareness schemes or other appropriate actions.
· Participate in planning meetings to ensure safe interfacing of works with other operations on site.
· Communicate HSE focus topics to all stakeholders on the worksite.
· Conduct frequent site safety walks and formal inspections.
· Collaborate with technical functions and other HSE team members to share learnings and develop best practices.
· Participate in internal and external HSE audits and assessments.
What You Bring
· 5 years of experience in an HSE role within the Wind Turbine Construction or maintenance industry.
· Bachelor’s Degree in HSE or an Engineering discipline.
· GWO Training Package certification.
· 3 years of experience in incident case management; familiarity with TapRooT RCA method is an advantage.
· Recognized HSE Qualification.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
· Fluency in English.
· High motivation level; self-starter with excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Proficiency in various office and cloud-based software.
· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
· This position is field-based and will involve rotational shifts.
· Applicants must be fit to work offshore and comfortable with working at height.
