In your position as Group Manager - Engineering at Siemens Energy, every single day will present new opportunities to lead, encourage, and innovate. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead an ambitious engineering team across two countries, ensuring their efforts align with our world-class standards.
- Coordinate resource management to support both local and cross-Nordic projects successfully.
- Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to recruit top engineering talent.
- Manage competence mapping and facilitate the professional development of team members.
- Drive personal development initiatives through active dialogue and training programs.
- Participate in the development of strategic plans at both local and Nordic levels.
- Foster positive relationships with collaborators, personnel partners, and external consultants.
- Represent the engineering department in client interactions and maintain excellent client relationships.
What You Bring
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, essential for leading a multinational team and reporting to the management team.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from a diverse group of backgrounds and cultures.
- Extensive experience in resource management within an engineering environment, with a vision for effective process management.
- Previous experience in a management role.
- Organized and structured approach to work, ensuring high-quality documentation and effective communication.
- Proficient IT skills, including the use of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Project).
About the Team
You will join a dynamic team of over 80 engineers based in Finland, Estonia, Norway, and Sweden. Our team is dedicated to delivering high voltage distribution substations and is part of the larger management team in Engineering. You will collaborate closely with four experienced engineering managers, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering for the Nordics and Baltics.
