Siemens Energy, one of the leading global companies in electrical energy industry is further expanding its traveling engineering team and looking for gas turbine commissioning engineers who are just starting their careers or have experience in industrial commissioning.
A Snapshot of Your Day
In our Industrial Applications and Power Generation, we offer a comprehensive digital portfolio of solutions for the oil and gas sector and other process industries, including rotating equipment, electrification, and subsea solutions.
Our on-site implementation team supports the resource management of Siemens Energy's global projects in gas and energy divisions, from high-end compressors, turbines and generators to power plants. Our engineers carry out on-site implementation of worldwide projects.
How You will Make an Impact
- Commissioning of industrial gas and steam turbines
- Contact with customer, subcontractors and project-management
- Track, report and document changes
- After obtaining certificate, professional management of commissioning engineers
What You Bring
- A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or energy engineering (BSc. or MSc.), or an intermediate technical qualification (electronics or control technology technician) with several years of experience
- Knowledge of control system technology (PCS7, T3000) is considered as an advantage
- Active, strong intermediate English language skills (professional English knowledge is an advantage)
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Mobility: continuous participation in foreign projects usually lasting 8-12-36 weeks
- Mechanic with electrical knowledge or knowledge of electrical engineering
- Willingness to learn, need and desire for continuous development
- Independent, decision-making, quality-oriented personality
- Willingness to learn about other cultures
- Even if you live in the countryside - the work is international, but it is not necessary to move to Budapest
- Category B driver's license
- Clean criminal record, certificate of good conduct
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
Our experienced Budapest Engineering Centre of Competence team - consisting of 150+ qualified engineers – provides services for Instrumentation & Control, electrical and mechanical engineering and now for sales supports.
