A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

Our Gas Service Organization is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Finance Project Manager to join our team of CPMs in the Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) Business! In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials (controlling, reporting, and forecasting). You will work together with our project management organization with the key objective of driving the projects according to our contractual obligations, project management standards, and applicable financial guidelines!

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Work in collaboration with project managers to provide commercial support for assigned projects according to defined guidelines and contractual agreements.
  • Responsible for project financials including monthly revenue recognition, financial planning, risk and opportunity management, and optimizing profit margins and cash flow.
  • Ensure achievement of contract requirements (e.g. performance guarantees, insurance, taxes, contractual, etc.) and compliance with IFRS guidelines and FRGs.
  • Responsible for all financial project topics, including but not limited to Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, and NCM Model.
  • Deliver detailed forecasts of the Projects Execution portfolio, encompassing key performance indicators across the P&L and Balance Sheet, and prepare/present project status reports to various levels of management.
  • Actively collaborate with the broader Finance community to share and implement standard processes, driving a digital transformation towards automation and data-driven decision making to improve AGT’s business performance and competitive position.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting is required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Business Administration or in Finance, preferably with experience in Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, percentage of completion (PoC) accounting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record to multi-task, meet deadlines under pressure, and willingness to travel up to 5%.
