A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Electrical Technician, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the power plant by performing maintenance and repair activities on electrical equipment and systems. Working closely with maintenance specialists and operations personnel, you will execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshoot electrical issues, and contribute to plant availability and performance. Your role is essential in maintaining high safety standards, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the facility.

How You’ll Make an Impact

· Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on electrical equipment and systems in accordance with maintenance plans and established procedures.

· Assist maintenance specialists in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical equipment to maximize plant reliability and availability.

· Utilize computerized plant management systems to report faults, document completed work, and request materials and spare parts.

· Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, environmental requirements, and permit-to-work processes while promoting a safe work environment.

· Support plant performance by executing maintenance activities efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on quality and operational reliability.

· Continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills through training programs, certifications, and hands-on learning opportunities.

What You Bring

· Technical College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in a similar industrial environment.

· Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical maintenance within power generation, industrial plants, or comparable heavy industries.

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, switchgear, generators, control systems, and maintenance best practices.

· Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical equipment and implement effective corrective actions.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance or plant management systems.

· Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse and multicultural teams.
