A Snapshot of Your Day
You will create and monitor EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) plans for our industrial steam turbine construction sites worldwide and advise and support our Project Management department in the safe implementation of projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You take over the function of an EHS Professional in projects as part of our global EHS team and are instrumental responsible to the adherence of a safety culture in worldwide industrial steam turbine projects.
- For this you create and check EHS plans and trainings (internal / external) and monitor their compliance. Implement higher-level EHS principles and policies and ensure the practical implementation of the applicable principles and guidelines. Coordinate the implementation of the EHS management system and also ensure effective EHS reporting.
- Support the Project Manager or Site Manager in planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting and continuous improvement on EHS topics.
- Prepare the necessary EHS documentation required for the implementation phase of projects. In your role, you oversee existing and potential EHS risks and recommend priorities for their solution and decide on measures to eliminate EHS relevant risks and abuses.
- Maintain relationships with regulators and EHS agencies of our customers. Perform safety inspections on erection sites to ensure safe work for our staff.
- Check and follow the Czech/European legislations and implement necessary changes into projects and company documentation.
What You Bring
- Completed technical study (Master / Diploma or equivalent experience) ideally in the field of Environmental, Health & Safety.
- Certificate: Osvědčení o získání odborné způsobilosti k zajišťování úkolů v Prevenci rizik v oblasti bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci (podle zákona 309/2006 Sb., § 10)
- Certificate: Osvědčení o odborné způsobilosti v požární ochraně (podle zákona 133/1985 Sb., § 11).
- Business proficient Czech and English as well as worldwide readiness to travel (10%) with.
- You are self-reliant, reliable, and efficient working method coupled with a strong hands-on mentality, not only the purely strategic work is important to you.
- Next certificate is not required, but is beneficial to have: Osvědčení o získání odborné způsobilosti k činnostem Koordinátora bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci na staveništi (podle zákona 309/2006 Sb., § 14).
- Beneficial is if you already have construction site experience in commissioning of turbomachinery equipment collected and/or product knowledge in industrial steam turbine plants and power plant technology.
