A Snapshot of Your Day 

Siemens Energy strives to transform and digitalize its business processes and tools in order to drive the energy transition. In the Manufacturing arena major initiatives are underway. In the process of aligning and integrating not only major programs like Manufacturing Execution System (MES), MIT, PLM Masterplan or S4E Unify you will provide your knowledge on the underlying operational business processes and help to shape our future way of working in this area. You will be navigating across different levels of detail ranging from high-level process views through to detailed business requirements and their implementation. 
As you will have a cross-organizational view on the End-2-End perspective, you will be working with our Manufacturing organizations in Central and across Siemens Energy, our factories including the Manufacturing Global Process Owner as well as partner organizations like IT or external consultants and solution providers.  

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Create transparency and drive integration and alignment between major manufacturing digitalization programs like MES, MIT and S4E
  • Identify gaps and overlaps between scope and timeline of major initiatives and develop solutions to overcome those
  • Identify harmonization and simplification opportunities across different product lines and locations
  • Focus on an End-2-End business process perspective while being able to balance the needs of different product lines and organizations
  • Foster collaboration and drive decisions on difficult and controversial topics towards the biggest benefit for Siemens Energy
  • Communicating and sharing the Manufacturing Digitalization target landscape and its implications for the business

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or M.Sc. degree required
  • 5+ years of manufacturing, engineering, business or equivalent experience. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferable.
  • Experience as a project manager in targeted selection and standardized implementation of tools across global locations 
  • Experience in large scale ERP implementations (preferred: S4/HANA) is a plus
  • You are able to proactively lead and collaborate effectively to derive common targets
  • You can easily analyze data and present it to others as well has a demonstrated ability to communicate to senior management and peers alike
  • You have successfully applied your good moderation skills and methodological knowledge in the area of Manufacturing
  • Good communication skills in English. Ability to travel as required

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
