A Snapshot of Your Day
In your role as Digital Innovation Portfolio Manager, you will kick off your day with a team sync, assessing the progress of current digital transformation projects. You will establish project priorities that align with the business objectives of Siemens Energy’s Aeroderivative Gas Turbines (AGT) division. Your day will involve working with a range of partners, including software developers and senior executives, to guarantee the smooth advancement of digital initiatives. You will flourish in a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere where every opinion is important, and your leadership steers our team towards exceptional solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead all aspects of a portfolio of digital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and standard methodologies.
- Drive the governance-led project initiation, execution, and delivery processes, focusing on continuous improvement to maintain quality standards.
- Identify internal and external collaborator needs, crafting innovative solutions that align with AGT and Siemens Energy’s strategic goals.
- Facilitate the adoption of digital initiatives across various business functions, engaging with central Digital groups within Siemens Energy.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of project management professionals, encouraging a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Develop and support arguments for digital projects, finding opportunities for cost savings and aligning with annual financial targets.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, project management, or IT, with proven experience leading digital, IT, and business transformation projects globally.
- Strong expertise in project, program, and portfolio management, with recognised qualifications in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with various partners, and drive business change in complex environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing at all organisational levels.
- A self-starter with a customer-focused approach, collaborative spirit, and a passion for digital transformation and process improvement.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM tools, AI, data analytics, and cloud solutions; prior experience in the Energy industry and Gas Turbine field is an advantage.
