However, they sometimes face hurdles when it comes to digital development and remote operation. Fortunately, our Customer Technical Services (CTS) team is here to support them. By blending operation and improvements of digital tools for remote diagnostics, along with a 24/7 help desk for three key products: Aeroderivative Gas Turbines, Medium Gas Turbines, and Small Gas Turbines customers, we aim to amplify reliability, availability, and efficiency. As cybersecurity engineer you will be responsible in supporting the CTS organization with guidance and technical knowledge for cybersecurity topics. Within Customer Technical Support there is a need for someone with cybersecurity knowledge to work with our customers to ensure that the products and services align to their internal and Siemens Energy cybersecurity policies and certifications required. To drive continuous improvement within the organization and products to ensure we are providing a secure and state of the art services and products.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Expert knowledge and support for the CTS organization as point of contact for cybersecurity topics.
Acting as the interface for CTS to the larger cybersecurity community.
Ownership of cybersecurity for CTS products and services.
Project management of certifications required for CTS products and services.
Conduct detailed risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Regularly assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Working with customer projects to ensure secure deliveries to meet site requirements.

A good understanding of the Power Generation Services business in the Distributed Generation market, including but not limited to: customers, regional set-up, strategy, business processes, especially as these businesses/customers/markets/processes relate to digitalization.
About the Team
CTS provides a range of technical support services, including proactive, reactive, and consultative support along the entire train via a global Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 setup. This setup features a 24/7 Operational Service Desk and Remote Diagnostic Centers, ensuring continuous support availability. Internally, the organization offers technical support for activities such as inspections, forced outages, and overhauls. Additionally, it establishes and maintains remote connections during both the New Unit Phase and the After Market phase, ensuring seamless operations.
Collaboration is a key aspect of the organization's operations bringing together MGT, AGT and SGT while working closely with CP & STG on common applications and aligns on a shared development roadmap. The GSO CTS team is responsible for maintaining CTS-related applications and tools, and they provide requirements to the Digital Development and Digital Sales teams.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
