A Snapshot of Your Day 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Technology and Operations Manager to lead the research and development, portfolio management, quality assurance and network optimization activities for our new Distribution Transformer Cluster. As the CTM you have a strong background and proven track record in the Distribution Transformer industry with specific focus on operational topics including Research and Development, Product Lifecycle Management, Quality Assurance, and Factory Network Optimization. You think about technology in terms of how it can benefit the company’s customers, and how it can boost revenue and increase sales.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Strategic planning & taking the lead in setting an overall technology strategy and envisioning how technology can be used across the company. The CTM will need to keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the industry, even if they’re not involved in day-to-day engineering.
  • Taking an active role in working with customers so they can understand what technologies are best suited for the company’s target market
  • Leading the research and development (R&D) team to drive innovation and develop new technologies and products to meet market demands and improve performance across all factories
  • Globally managing the portfolio of products and services, including identifying opportunities for new products and services, as well as optimizing the existing product line to meet customer needs
  • Leading and seeking productivity improvements for all factories within the network and optimizing factory utilization by seeking best portfolio & load fit per factory and collaborate very intensively with all factories
  • Overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet industry standards and customer expectations
  • Leading network optimization efforts to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance
  • As part of the leadership team of the new DT clustering guide business strategy and prepare the organization for an eventual carve-out or joint venture
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, technology management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in technology and operations management, preferably in the distribution transformer industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving innovation and operational excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of distribution transformer manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
