Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Winston Salem, NC, as a Machine Operator / Technician, where you will play a vital role in our Additive Manufacturing business at Siemens Energy. Imagine being part of a friendly environment where you operate and maintain cutting-edge additive manufacturing machines while keeping meticulous records of the manufacturing process. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Operate and maintain Additive Layer Manufacturing machines, including EOS M290 and EOS M400-4.
  • Keep accurate records related to machine operations in SAP and other systems.
  • Manage consumables necessary for the additive manufacturing process.
  • Participate in cross-training for other job functions, such as manual machining of parts (lathe, mill, EDM, etc.).
  • Perform hand finishing of parts and conduct inspection and measurement of components.
  • Oversee goods receipt and dispatch to ensure smooth operations.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of vocational training, complemented by 4-8 years of relevant experience.
  • A committed individual who is willing to work the hours necessary to complete tasks effectively, and to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the capability to follow defined procedures and accurately record results.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and good manual dexterity.
  • Essential knowledge of basic machine tools and workshop skills, including milling, turning, and bench skills.
  • A valid driving license.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
