We currently have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding lawyer to join our Asia team in Manila and become a key member of international Legal & Compliance community at Siemens Energy.

Your Profile:

•  A demonstrable track record of managing successfully legal risks in complex environments and of being a trusted advisor to management.

•  Deep knowledge of commercial and contract law and international contract practice.

•  Broad understanding of different business models, go to market approaches and business processes.

•  Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills.

•  A passion to enable business transactions and to drive change.

•  Capability to manage multiple stakeholders.

•  Excellent communication skills coupled with intercultural sensitivity and competence.

•  Excellent language skills in verbal and written English.

Your Responsibilities:

•  Manage all legal matters/risks and contracts of the Philippines (except tax issues) with a special focus on project business and claim management.

•  Take initiative and contribute proactively to master business challenges by thinking entrepreneurial (balancing governance and business needs).

•  Be the trusted advisor of regional and local management and the Business Areas on legal and compliance aspects.

•  Implement and maintain Siemens Energy compliance system in the country while participating in further development of relevant policies and processes.

•  Maintain and further improve best in class Legal department.

•  Drive cost optimization and lean principles to gain efficiencies.

•  Foster an organizational culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency and “speak up”.

•  Collaborate closely with global Legal and Compliance community.

•  Leverage global resources and develop local content to conduct training and awareness programs to promote a culture of ethical decision making and compliance.
