A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Lean Specialist, you will be a key member of the Operational Excellence team at the Aalborg manufacturing site. In this role, you will play a critical part in improving manufacturing performance through data-driven analysis, process optimization, and strong facilitation of improvement initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to production leadership, supporting teams in identifying improvement opportunities, optimizing processes, and implementing sustainable solutions. A key aspect of the role is not only improving current operations but also taking a forward-looking perspective to ensure robust production flow, capacity readiness, and scalable solutions for future operational demands.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyzing production workflows, material logistics, and ergonomics using tools such as Value Stream Mapping.
• Ensuring stable flow and capacity within the area of responsibility.
• Developing improved operating methods and optimized process flows.
• Collaborating with manufacturing engineers on layout optimization and process optimization.
• Conducting data-driven analysis of cycle times, costs, inventory levels, and production performance.

What You Bring

• A proactive role in engaging stakeholders across all levels of the organization, ensuring that customer needs are translated into practical and value-creating solutions on the shop floor.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Ability to coach production managers and facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and A3 processes.
• A commitment to driving measurable improvements in flow, productivity, and cost.
