How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manage the Romanian MGT Engineering Team, encouraging collaboration and facilitating the professional growth of team members.
• Build strong partnerships with functional managers for MGT Engineering & other local functions securing smooth collaboration.
• Hold personnel and budget responsibility for your team, ensuring that the correct competence is in place to implement planned activities. This includes recruiting further team members, as business requires.
• Develop psychological safety and a good work environment for people to thrive and develop at work.
• Establish local industrial and academic partnerships.

What You Bring

• As a leader you build trust and collaboration around yourself and in your team. You enjoy working with people and are happy when people around you are successful.
• You possess a strategic outlook, demonstrating a candid passion for both leadership and encouraging the growth of individuals. You also possess phenomenal presentation skills. Fluent English both spoken and in writing is mandatory for this position.
• You have a proven track record of optimally building networks & communicating well. You value different experiences and cultures and understand the importance of inclusion to demonstrate the full potential of a team.
• Proficient understanding of the delivery procedure for Medium Gas Turbines is advantageous as the team primarily concentrates on completing our customer order projects.
• Professional experience from engineering or R&D is meritorious, as also previous management experience.
• You take pride in solving challenges, focusing on solutions and how to realize them in a joint effort.

About the Team

The Team operates within the Customer order Engineering division for Medium Gas Turbines. The Engineering department handling customer orders is in charge of all engineering duties needed to fulfill customer projects. This means electrical, control and mechanical engineering, as well as project management and the timely delivery of customer documentation.

The engineering team in Bucharest consists of a group of highly skilled and motivated control system & electrical engineers. All team members collaborate daily with colleagues & functional managers in Sweden and elsewhere.

You report to the head of Customer Order Engineering and collaborate closely with the electrical systems & controls leadership team. We work together to find the best solutions and value everyone’s input. You will join a team where we have fun in our daily work and solve tough problems and questions together.
