As a Technical Sales Specialist at Siemens Energy in Mexico, your day will be filled with opportunities to drive sales and contribute to our ambitious growth targets. You will lead the sales development process for Steam Turbines Mods & Ups Projects, identifying and qualifying new opportunities while devising strategies to navigate complex selling environments. Your work will directly impact our success, ensuring we meet customer needs and uphold our mission to make balanced energy a reality. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Apply sharp business sense to craft and express a successful value proposition while adhering to company growth and profit targets.
- Responsible for Forecasting all M&U business in the assigned selling region – Salesforce funnel, and accuracy/quality of forecasts.
- Support the sales team in the assigned countries with fleet analysis, opportunity exploration, persuasive arguments, workshops, and more.
- Coordinate Salesforce Fleet Clean-Up to ensure data accuracy and relevance.Support the "Clean Handover" to the commercial and completing teams for every new project, including final Purchase Order review and participating in all internal and external kickoff meetings.
- Detect and evaluate the technical and commercial feasibility of oOEM opportunities with support from the PCCs.
- Meet Siemens Energy sales, booking, and earning objectives while representing customer requirements.Manage expense governance strictly within Siemens Energy corporate guidelines.Monitor market activity and trends, including our competition, and provide feedback. Support industry tradeshows locally and globally, showcasing our world-class solutions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Industrial, Electric or Electronic Engineering.
- At least 5 years' experience, in Rotating equipment sales and/or capital project business development.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Domestic or International Travel).
- Strategically oriented with detailed knowledge of products, services, and markets of industrial steam turbines, with a strong understanding of steam turbine performance and applications. Experience with Siemens Energy’s Industrial Steam Turbine models is preferable.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and across organizational and international boundaries. Self-motivated with high energy drive and business sense, determined to achieve success.
- Intermediate level of English.
