As a Technical Bid Expert for HV substations at Siemens Energy you will be responsible for Technical and commercial offer preparation for HV Substation. You will review and analyze technical requirements, project specifications, and scope of work to ensure comprehensive bid submissions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Review and analyze technical requirements, project specifications, and scope of work for HV power substation bids.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to gather technical inputs for inquiries.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and offer insights to mitigate potential project risks within bids.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation, concept drawings, and specifications for inclusion in bid packages.
• Assist in the evaluation of technical alternatives and solutions to optimize bid competitiveness and project performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment in bid submissions.
• Provide technical support during bid clarification meetings, negotiations and project executions.

What You Bring

• Higher technical education related to construction, electrical engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in technical bid support, engineering, or project management within the power substation.
• Technical knowledge of HV power substation equipment, systems, and design principles.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and communicate technical requirements effectively.
• Fluency in Polish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for technical documentation and bid support.
• Professional certifications in project management or engineering are advantageous.
• Prior experience working with major utilities, EPC contractors, or power equipment manufacturers is beneficial.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in power substations is a plus.
