A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will be responsible for the detailed engineering of rotating equipment packages, including compressor packages per API 617, lube oil systems per API 614, seal gas systems per API 692, and cooling water systems. This involves the detailed engineering of single shaft centrifugal compressor packages in accordance with Siemens Energy standards, client specifications, and applicable codes. You will also support the project execution team and project sites as needed, providing engineering solutions that meet client requirements. This includes the optimum design and selection of package components that adhere to relevant standards, codes, and specifications.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Detail engineering activity completion as per project milestone.
- Preparation of Engineering specifications of Heat Exchangers, Pumps, filters, valves etc,
- Preparation of Key engineering Documents like Process and Instrumentation diagrams, General arrangement drawings, foundation plan, piping layout drawings.
- Single Shaft compressor Package Design per API 617.
- Lube oil system design per API 614
- Seal Gas system design per API 692
- Sizing and selection of all components of systems (Pumps, Motor, Filter, control valve, booster, Heater, Transmitters, Orifice, Valves, Instruments etc
- Design Input- Output scheduling, checking and approval (from client).
- To have across the table meeting with client to have approval on principle engineering documents, like P& ID, General arrangement drawings, foundation plan, pressure vessel design etc.
- Checking of key engineering Vendor documents of bought out items (like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Filters, Strainers, pumps etc.) and to give engineering approval the earliest possible to facilitate early shipment of packages.
- Cost effective engineering solution and release.
- To release Engineering piping material requirements at least 20 weeks before package shipment.
- Cost effective engineering of Structural items (like Main skid / console skid etc...).
- Standardization of Oil cooler / console for various sizes of Reciprocation Compressor Frames.
- Shop co ordination and support to facilitate smooth execution.
- Site support as and when required.
- Post shipment client query response within 2 weeks.
- To fulfill SE global Policy, Guiding Principles, Quality Policy, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 requirements and obligations.
What You Bring
- A proven experience of 5 years in the engineering of static and rotating equipment, as well as package items.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical / ME / B.Tech / M.Tech).
