A Snapshot of Your Day

Step into a role where your expertise in data strategy and governance strengthens the foundations of global construction delivery. As a Strategic Data Management Specialist, you’ll shape how project information is captured, structured, analyzed, and leveraged across the Corporate Real Estate construction portfolio. From establishing data standards to building insights that guide executive decisions, you'll ensure that high quality, reliable data becomes a core driver of project success. Partnering with engineering, project management, finance, and digital teams, you’ll accelerate the transformation toward a data empowered construction function.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and lead the data management strategy for construction projects, translating business objectives into datadriven and digital initiatives while defining standards for data quality, governance, workflows, and usability.
  • Design scalable, futureproof data and digital ecosystems by structuring core project datasets (cost, schedule, risk, quality, sustainability, supply chain) and strategically evaluating and integrating tools, platforms, and processes to create measurable business value.
  • Act as a key translator between business stakeholders, data teams, and technology experts, conceptualising digital products, challenging existing processes, and driving digitalization initiatives that enhance transparency, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Create advanced dashboards and analytics solutions that deliver realtime project visibility, forecasting, and decision support, while harmonising global construction data into actionable portfolio insights.
  • Ensure compliant, secure, and ethical data handling aligned with corporate data policies and regulatory requirements and lead continuous improvement efforts to close gaps in data capture, process efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to bring digital products into operation, hand them over to execution teams, and strengthen data literacy to support a datadriven culture.

What You Bring

  • Over 5 years’ experience in data management, data analytics, or project controls within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or corporate real estate environments, with expertise in digital transformation, automation, or process optimization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction project data structures, covering cost, schedule, risk, procurement, change management, and quality documentation, along with proven skills in leveraging data to enhance decision-making and project performance.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and active data quality monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability across datasets.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, capable of developing dynamic dashboards and generating predictive insights for project controls.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems including ERP platforms, project management tools (Primavera, MS Project), document management systems, and integrated project controls solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working in multinational, multicultural teams; fluent in advanced English, holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, engineering, construction management, information systems, or related fields, and willing to travel internationally if required.
