A Snapshot of Your Day

You lead procurement activities across the entire project lifecycle in the substation automation business. Your day combines strategic sourcing with hands-on operational tasks to ensure a reliable and cost-efficient supply chain. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with project goals and regional compliance requirements. You negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and resolve urgent issues across North and Latin America. By day's end, you’ve driven measurable impact on cost, delivery, and quality.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for North America and LATAM, while continuously monitoring market trends, supplier performance, and risks to ensure a resilient, cost-optimized, and sustainable supply chain.
• Manage suppliers in industrial and electrical engineering categories, negotiate contracts and delivery terms, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Bid Management, and Quality teams to align procurement goals.
• Lead and execute daily procurement operations including RFQs, order processing, delivery tracking, issue resolution, and contract management.
• Ensure accurate supplier data and documentation in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), while supporting audits and compliance with procurement policies.
• Drive cost optimization and supplier performance by identifying qualified vendors, negotiating terms, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and reliable supply of materials and services.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial procurement, ideally in electrotechnical environments
• You bring a strong operational procurement background with hands-on experience in purchasing processes, ideally in automation and electrical engineering.
• You are fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus), comfortable in international environments, and skilled in using SAP, ARIBA, PowerBI, and digital procurement tools.
• You have excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills, and are open to occasional travel (approx. 10%).
