Siemens Energy is looking for a Spare Parts & Pricing Specialist to join our $100M+ Global Industrial Steam Turbine Business! Responsible for pricing, data, proposals, and competitiveness. It’s an exciting opportunity that will require flexibility to travel approximate 5% of the time!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Create “Recommended Spare Parts Lists” (RSLs) for New Unit and Service inventory purposes, scheduled maintenance, and major overhauls along with Vital, Ideal, and Preventative (VIP) lists.
  • Develop “Spare Parts Interchangeability Records” (SPIRs) proposals to create portfolio solutions for our internal and external clients.
  • Partner with Regional Parts Specialists to generate orders from parts lists developed.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to develop creative solutions.
  • Drive client satisfaction through responsiveness and ease of doing business - resolve issues quickly and escalate if necessary

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of experience in parts operations, cost accounting, or customer service; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) is required; Experience with Oracle and/or SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints to meet deadlines while paying attention to details, and have excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing central initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to determine pricing strategies.

This job may be based in New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. Details regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html. The base salary range for this position if based in New York is $61,000 - $115,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
