What You Can Expect

Over the course of two years, you’ll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand. 

From day one, you will work on meaningful projects with three individually designed assignments, including one eight-month international assignment.

You will be paired with a dedicated mentor who guides you through immersive experiences, allowing you to shadow various roles and positions. This support system is designed to empower you to achieve your unique career goals while fostering meaningful connections with peers and influential business leaders. Additionally, you'll gain access to a wealth of resources geared towards cultivating your professional growth.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain insights into all aspects of Commercial Project Management, including Site Management and Business Controlling. You support the execution of large-scale customer projects and learn how to finish projects in the given time, budget and quality framework. You will be involved in active communication and collaboration with various partners, digitalization, and evaluation of our business performance to provide valuable input for strategic decision making.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and will work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.

• Gain insights into the execution of projects with customers, consortium partners, regional units and suppliers/subcontractors.
• Conduct analyses, including financial performance, risks, trends, and opportunities, enabling you to provide insightful recommendations for management decisions and customer negotiations.
• Ensure accuracy of project books and records and prepare commercial documentation for regular project status meetings.
• Learn about subcontracts on site, including cost controlling, forecasting and contract management in accordance with company guidelines.
• Support the digitalization of business processes by integrating advanced tools.

What You Bring

• Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment
• A master's degree, doctoral degree, or equivalent in business administration, finance, economics, or a similar field
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Growth mindset, focus on solutions, and willingness to work in a dynamic international environment
• Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
• Excellent English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment, flexibility and mobility during the program, German skills are a plus
