A Snapshot of your day

Your day involves performing complex and technically challenging on-site tasks in a specialized area of Field Service for Gas Turbines and Generators. You will identify issues as they arise and take appropriate actions to resolve them, especially in situations that are more intricate and demanding.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Execute advanced and specialized tasks on turbine and/or generator equipment during new installations, overhauls, repairs, or modification projects, following Siemens Energy work procedures.
  • Prepares detailed documentation for all installations, inspections, maintenance, repair work, and equipment failures.
  • Handles complex service calls, collaborates with customer personnel, and delivers high-quality service along with feedback on problem assessment and resolution.
  • Evaluates the condition of equipment and implements repair or improvement measures based on a standardized set of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to addressing moderately complex service calls.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Field Service, with at least 1 to 2 years focused on maintenance of prime movers in power stations.
  • Prior experience in Field Service or Breakdown Maintenance is highly advantageous.
  • Over 1 year of experience leading small teams (up to 5 people) in a work environment.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); experience working in multicultural teams is essential. Knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Willingness to work abroad, including shift work and frequent travel.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude, initiative, and a results-driven mindset.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
