A Snapshot of Your Day
Step into a role where your skills make a real impact as our Service and Commissioning Engineer. Based in Malaysia, this mid-level role provides key operational and technical support to the EAD – Life Cycle Management department within the engineering, oil and gas, and energy sector. You will play an important part in upholding high service standards while continuously improving procedures that drive exceptional customer experience across the project lifecycle.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, managing service requests, tool rentals, and calibration needs while coordinating the dispatch of the right engineers to site.
- Oversee end-to-end order processing, including pricing updates, pre-invoice preparation, and shipping documentation upon service completion.
- Coordinate service requirements across internal departments and subcontractors to ensure smooth resource management and a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor invoice status and payment schedules, proactively following up with both customers and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution.
- Uphold HSSE and OSHA compliance standards, ensuring all risk assessments are completed and verified prior to site commissioning.
- Maintain accurate records of monthly manhours, overtime, and claims.
What You Bring
- A calm, composed approach under pressure with a strong ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
- Solid decision-making and communication skills, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proactive and collaborative attitude, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, with good overall computer literacy.
- A Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- 5 years of experience in customer service, project planning, or scheduling within a related industry.
